Super Eagles sought-after midfield enforcer, Micheal Olise scooped three award at Crystal Palace End of the Season Awards ceremony, iwitnesslive.com can report.
The midfielder emerged as Crystal Palace most outstanding player of the season which automatically earned him the Players’ Player of the Year Award after collated votes from teammates.
The France U21 international also emerged as winner of Moment of the Season award following his 94th-minute winner in Crystal Palace’s 2-1 win over West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium, London last November.
Also, his injury-time free-kick against Manchester United in January was picked as the Goal of the Season, wadding off challenge from Eberechi Eze’s 25-yard strike against Southampton in April.
The 21-year-old had a good season for Crystal Palace this season with 2 goals and 10 assists in the Premier League.
While Eberechi Eze was handed a call-up by England, Olise was not listed. With Nigeria, England, France and Algeria on his heels, it remains to seen where Olise’s international future lies.
