The dust is yet to settle on the controversy trailing this year’s AMVCA after Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan declared in clear terms why Nancy Isime deserves the genuine Actress of the Year award.
Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, Cynthia lauded Isime for her year-long contribution to the movie industry, adding that the acting diva has brought more joy to many homes while carrying out her craft.
She posited that top actresses like BBNaija’s Mercy Eke, Nse Ikpe, and Ini Edo, also deserve some accolades for their contributions to the film business, particularly in blockbuster “Shanty Town.”
Cynthia praised Nancy Isime in front of the public, declaring her deserving of the “Actress of the Year” honor.
She also questioned why Timini Egbuson was not even considered for an award.
“But Nancy Isime is the real actress of the year. Argue with your ancestors. Even Mercy Eke deserved some accolades. I mean her acting in Shanty Town not that outfit, please. Nse to of course Ini is doing well too. But talking about who has been on our screens for two consecutive years now. It’s Nancy. And talking about the actor of the year where did you guys keep Timini”. she wrote
