Theatre Arts and Movies Practitioners Association of Nigeria will on Sunday stage an artiste night programme as a mark of respect late Murphy Afolabi, iwitnesslive.com gathered.
A top member of the association, Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin disclosed that the event will take place at the LTV Blue Roof Arena in Ikeja, Lagos, and will be followed by Fidau prayers for the deceased on Monday, May 22.
The Osun State-born actor was buried in Ikorodu on Monday, May 15 after he slipped in his bathroom and died on Sunday.
“Anybody can die. Murphy was not sick, as far as we know. As you must have heard, he went to have his bath, slipped and died. The news of his death came as a rude shock to us, and is a great loss to the industry.” Mr Latin lamented
