Nigeria Football Fedration(NFF) has charged Flying Eagles to do the country proud following their 3-3 draw against Colombia in a friendly match on Tuesday night.
NFF top brass, Abdulahi Idris showered encomium on the team for digging deep to tie the encounter at 3-3, adding that alot still need to be done before their opening game against Dominican Republic.
“That was a good result even though we couldn’t watch the game. It is a sign of great thing to come. The players should not relax because the main assignment is just around the corner,” he said.
He assured that the glass house is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the team enjoy massive support as they attempt to win Nigeria’s first FIFA U-20 World Cup trophy.
” The team can be rest assured of NFF support in their quest to win U-20 World Cup for the first time,” he concluded.
