Barely 17 days to swearing in of new government, facts emerge from the seat of power on Friday night that President-elect, Bola Tinubu will decide if new sets of furniture will be purchased as renovating and refurbishing sections of the Presidential Villa reached advance stage.
A decent source at Aso Rock Villa said the edifice have been painted white while other sections are going through massive fumigation to pave way for it’s new occupants which include the incoming president as well as his top aides and key officials.
Word was also rife in Abuja that Buhari’s aides have started moving their belongings out of Aso Rock to avoid any form of embarrassment from security operatives.
“You know that most of the structure is white. So, the renovation will involve repainting of the stained sections and replacing fittings that have gone weak or bad. The furniture may not be changed. But that will depend on the new President,” the source said.
