As the deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission for all political parties to choose their presidential candidates closes in, four political parties today conducted primaries where they chose their candidates. At different locations in Abuja, Zenith Labour Party, Young Progressive Party, New Nigeria Peoples Party and a faction of the Labour Party all elected their flagbearers for the 2023 election.
