The Action Peoples Party has withdrawn its petition challenging the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress as President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal.
The Counsel to APP, Obed Agu, on Wednesday, announced the withdrawal of the suit and counsel to Tinubu, Wole Olanipekun, SAN, did not oppose the withdrawal.
The Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Haruna Tsammani, subsequently dismissed the petition.
