Words filtered in on Monday night that the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) has completed all formalities to ensure that the friendly match against Colombia go ahead as planned.
The friendly is one of the two tune-up games arranged to help knock the players into shape before their opening group match against Dominican Republic on May 21.
Beside, NFF believes playing Colombia will also give both players and coaching crew a slice of what to expect when they face co-South Americans, Brazil in their group.
The match come up today while the second friendly have not been confirmed. Colombia booked a place in Argentina after securing a third place spot in 2023 South American U-20 Championship.
Nigeria is grouped alongside Dominican Republic, Italy and Brazil.
