Popular American rapper, Aubrey Drake Graham, AKA Drake, on Sunday, linked his root to Nigeria after a family ancestry test emerged.
Sharing his Dad’s ancestry results on Instagram on Sunday, Drake revealed he is 30% Nigerian.
He wrote, “This is my dad’s results, does this mean I’m a Naija man finally?.”
Drake’s revelation is however not coming as a surprise to many after foreign superstars like Beyoncé, SZA, Diddy, and a host of others have linked their ancestral roots to Nigeria in the past.
Recall Rihanna claimed her ancestors were from the Igbo tribe, but stressed that Nigeria was not mentioned because the country was in existence when her ancestors left the shores of Igboland.
