Kano State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of 22-year old suspect, Ibrahim Musa who reportedly stabbed his biological mother to death in Kano.
Our Correspondent reports that the suspect, popularly known as Iro Ƙwarangwal, was said to have stabbed his 50-year old mother, Jummai to death over disagreement.
In a statement on Friday, spokesman of the Command, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa said the suspect was apprehended at a hideout on Thursday in Dawakin Tofa Local Government at about 10:00pm.
He said; “the suspect confessed to the crime and also confessed to dealing in illicit drug abuse.
“He will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.”
