Just like in ondo and ibadan, protests have continued in other parts of the country over scarcity of fuel and the new naira notes. The latest protest is in benin where Some Civil Society
organizations and residents earlier today blocked the entrance gate to the Central Bank of Nigeria demanding an end to the paucity of funds amongst other request.
The Protesters are asking the central bank of Nigeria to discontinue the policy and make the naira notes available for citizens.
