A highly respected football agent based in Spain has disclosed exclusively to this reporter that European giants, Real Madrid are going for a joint grab of the Nigerian duo of Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze.
According to my source who pleaded anonymity since he is involved in the bid, the Galacticos will dispatch their representatives to open talks with Napoli and Villarreal before or after the end of the season.
“Madrid want Victor (Osimhen) as a replacement for aging Karim Benzema while Samuel (Chukwueze) is to plug the left side of the team where they have been lacking quality,” begins the Spain-based agent.
Osimhen and Chukwueze started together as teammates with Golden Eaglets which eventually won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Since then both players have been tightly knitted in the Super Eagles talking about their relationship.
“Real Madrid have kept their eyes on Chukwueze since his impressive development at Villarreal. Osimhen caught the attention of the club following his brilliant season in Naples. Madrid will be a good move for both of these deals fall through.
“Interestingly, Arsenal are equally making a joint bid to sign both players but I can inform you categorically that Madrid is the surest for these guys because the club wants them and they will get regular playing time since they are both established Internationals,” concludes my source.
Meanwhile Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea are also in the race for Osimhen even as Villarreal appear to have given up on keeping their left-footed bomber, Chukwueze next season.
Chukwueze hit great form towards the end of the ongoing season with goals and assists. He has enjoyed quality time on the pitch and has rewarded his club with a sterling performance to attract top suitors from across Europe.
