The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye, has hit out at the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike again, calling the governor an alcohol and drug addict.\
The two men resumed hostility after Wike spoke against the emergence of Melaye as the flagbearer of the PDP in the Kogi governorship elections.
Wike had said Melaye lacks what it takes to be a governor but Melaye shocked the Rivers governor by beating his fellow contestants to emerge the candidate of the PDP for the polls.
In an interview on Arise TV Wednesday morning, Melaye said Wike was still suffering from post-electio trauma after he lost the presidential ticket of the party to Atiku Abubakar who also refused to name the Rivers State Governor as his running mate.
Dino described Wike as a drug and alcoholic-induced individual, saying he has no time to talk about such a personality.
According to Dino, Wike’s actions are triggered by post-election trauma.
He said, “Wike is one who is about to be taken off the shelf so I will not bother myself discussing with a man who is about leaving the office and is suffering from post election trauma.
“I want to concentrate seriously on my election and how to rescue the people of Kogi State.
“I do not have time actually for a drug and alcoholic induced individual”.
