Italian transfer market website Calciomercato reports that the young Nigerian is top in the pecking order of top transfer deals that Rossoneri intends to carry out when the transfer window is later in the summer.
Chukwueze was a delight to watch last weekend as he single-handedly destroyed Laliga giants, Real Madrid at the Benabeau.
The former Golden Eaglets star has scored 13 goals with 11 assists in 40 appearances for the Yellow Submarin.
It remains to be seen if Villareal will be willing to ignore Milan’s mega millions and keep one of their most prized assets.
