Frank Lampard, a club legend, is currently in advanced talks with Chelsea about taking over as interim manager till the end of the current campaign.
Lampard is expected to take command of Chelsea’s upcoming match against Wolves on Saturday if negotiations go well.

In January 2021, Chelsea’s all-time leading scorer Lampard was fired from his position as manager at Stamford Bridge. He took over at Everton, but less than a year later, in January, he was fired.
