Ighalo nominated for West Asia Best Player Award

Good times are here for erstwhile Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo after he was nominated for West Asia Best Player award for the month of March.

The monthly award is set aside to encourage players to raise the bar in terms of individual and team performance which will in the long run help develop the league in the region.

Former Manchester United star Odion Ighalo has been nominated for the Best Player award in the West Asian region for March.

The former Manchester United star scored four goals in March and has 16 goals to his credit this season.

Othershortlistedd players for the prestigious awards are Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah (Al Ittihad Saudi Arabia), Federico Cartabia (Shabab Al-Ahly Dubai, UAE), Michael Olunga (Al-Duhail Qatari), Ali Adawi (Shabab Al-Dhahiriya Palestinian), Muhammad Daham (Al-Nasr Kuwaiti) and Ernest Barfo (Bahrain Sitra).
