Italian Serie A leaders Napoli will be without their talisman, Victor Osimhen in Sunday’s home tie against defending champions AC Milan.
Nigeria’s 1-0 win of Guinea Bissau in Monday’s AFCON qualifier did come with a huge price after Osmihen raised concerns about his left abductor muscle.
It is however not certain how long the striker will watch from the bench as Napoli’s doctor, will in the coming ascertain the level of discomfort on his muscle before deciding on a possible return date.
It remains to be seen if the forward would be available Napoli’s Champions League quarter-final fixtures with the Rossoneri, billed for April 12 and 18 after the club confirmed the injury on their website on Friday.
