After announcing the official release of his long-awaited album, titled “Timeless,” superstar Davido is fully back.
Friday morning, Davido announced the news via his Twitter handle.
The Afrobeats star, who fell off the radar last year after his son Ifeanyi’s sudden death, thanked his fans for helping him come back with the 17-track album.
He praised Chioma Rowland, his wife, especially for her assistance in completing the project.
“Now, finally, WE are back. Davido wrote on Twitter, “The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind, to say the least.”
“Wondering if I could get here again, after all I’ve gone through… but with your love and support, we made it,” he recalled sitting and gazing over the ocean not too long ago.
“I wanted to give you my heart, soul, and energy. I’m not sure what comes next. I present to you today “TIMELESS.”
“I have a lot of people to thank for making this possible, but first, I want to express my gratitude to @thechefchi, the strongest woman I know!
“I just want to say thank you. I also adore all of my supporters. Enjoy now! I’ll see you all soon on the road! the star of music added.
Fave, Asake, and Cavemen, as well as British-Nigerian rapper Skepta, multi-Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo, South African singer Musa Keys, and Jamaican, are among the exciting Nigerian and international artists on the album.
