A member of the House of Representatives representing Badagry Federal Constituency, Babatunde Hunpe, has celebrated and rejoiced with the President-elect, Bola Tinubu on his 71st birthday anniversary.
The lawmaker in a statement described Tinubu as a dogged fighter for the causes he believes in. Hunpe said the former Lagos State Governor had through his actions and engagement inspired many to stand up and be counted in the areas of political participation and excellent service delivery.
Hunpe said, “I thank God for your service to the nation as Senator, governor of Lagos State and a founding leader of our great party, All Progressive Congress (APC). You have demonstrated an uncommon and unyielding commitment to a progressive and prosperous Nigeria.
“Your victory at the Presidential election held February 25th 2023, wasn’t magic but it was as a result of your steadfast services to our nation and Sterling contributions you had made in the public and political spheres of our dear country. May 29, 2023, awaits your official inauguration as a substantive President and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
Hunpe said Tinubu had lived a life of service, impacting many lives in several decades of active political participation and public service. “This has made him a political Pathfinder and legend in his own lifetime.
“On behalf of myself, my family and all good people of Badagry Federal Constituency, I celebrate you on this milestone. I pray that God will keep you in perfect health and grant you the wisdom and strength as you steer the ship of our nation to a more enviable height of peace and prosperity for all,” he said.
