Super Eagles’ weapon of mass destruction, Victor Osimhen has expressed confidence in the ability of his teammates to pick three maximum points against Guinea Bissau in today’s 2023 AFCON qualifiers billed for MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Fielding questions for reporters on Thursday, the Napoli forward said Super Eagles would leave nothing to chance against their opponents, which he described as no pushovers in African football.
Osimhen admitted that Guinea-Bissau has evolved into a stronger side compared to what Nigerians saw at the last AFCON in Cameroon, saying that they won’t be taking it for granted.
” We know what is at stake and we will do our best to win and pick three points against Guinea Bissau.
” I know the team cine first, but I will do my best to get the goals and ensure we qualify for AFCON with two matches to play. We will put in our very best to make Nigerian happy,” he said
