The Independent National Electoral Commission( INEC) has declared Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Agbu Kefas as the winner of Taraba State gubernatorial elections.
The state Returning Officer, Prof. M.A. Abdulaziz made the declaration in the early hours of today after a painstaking collation of election results from 16 local governments of the state.
Agbu raked in 257,926 votes while New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, candidate, Prof. Sani Yahayapolled 202,277 votes to emerge second.
Emmanuel Bwacha of the All Progressive Congress, APC, came third with 142,502 votes.
