Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on Monday declared that his re-election for a second term in office was the will of God and a collective struggle of the people of the state who placed the interest of the state above theirs.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had early declared the governor winner of the March 18 governorship election in the state having polled a total of 525,280 votes to defeat his closest rival, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar (retd) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered a total of 432, 272 votes.
Reacting to his victory while addressing journalists, Governor Mohammed said he was honoured by the revalidation of his mandate by the electorates, pledging his commitment to consolidate on the successes recorded by his administration so far
