The All Progressives Congress has ost the control of the Osun State House of Assembly to the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP) which won 25 out of the 26 seats in the election conducted on Saturday.
The party lost the last Governorship election to PDP with Ademola Adeleke emerging as the winner but the party has lost more grounds following the total victory of their fiercest rival in the latest polls.
According to the official results released by Independent National Electoral Commission, APC won in only Boripe Boluwaduro state constituency.
The internal crisis has been blamed for the party losses in the last three elections with the erstwhile governor Gboyega Oyetola refusing to make peace with his predecessor Rauf Aregesola,.
