The smooth running of the electoral process in Oshogbo came to a halt after hoodlums violently dispersed voters and destroy ballot boxes.
Voting at Ataoja Ward 5 polling units 10 and 11 started at a slow pace but peaceful until some political thugs arrived at the scene to disperse voters and party agents.
Although there was no report of hoodlums carting away ballot boxes, but voting has since stopped at the unit after voting materials were destroyed.
No casualty was reported in the attack.
