The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has said that he is challenging the process leading to the declaration of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, as the winner of the election and not the declaration itself.
Speaking on Arise Television, Obi said he is in court as directed by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, that he should do.
Obi noted that people criticising him should allow the court to determine whether the electoral umpire followed the Electoral Act 2022 in conducting the election.
