Napoli are considering 25-year-old Super Eagles and Atalanta striker Ademola Lookman as a potential transfer target if Victor Osimhen moves to the Premier League during the summer transfer window according to report.
Osimhen, 24, has been strongly linked with Manchester United, having netted 21 goals and provided another four in 25 appearances across Serie A and the Champions League this season.
The Nigerian striker is on the radar of a number of clubs, chiefly Manchester United, who are said to be prepared to make a huge investment in the striker position over the summer.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro believeb that Nigeria’s ace striker, Osimhen, is on track to play for the biggest clubs in the world.
Peseiro who took a trip to Italy, where he met certain Super Eagles players and watched Victor Osimhen’s Napoli beat Ademola Lookman’s Atalanta said an interview with Sport Italia said Osimhen was heading to the high echelons of the sport with great clubs like Mancester United Real Madrid and PSG hunting for him.
The Nigerian striker is one of the best strikers in the world this season. He has scored 19 goals in only 22 games in Serie A this season, helping Napoli to their current 18-point lead at the top of the league.
