The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi has sympathized with victims of the bus/train accident that occurred in Lagos state today.
In the early hours of this morning, A passenger train collided with a bus conveying some Lagos state civil servants to their work places. Six passengers were killed while several other passengers in the bus were injured and taken to the hospital for immediate medical attention.
Calls for donation of blood has been placed for members of the public to come donate blood for those that are in dire need of it.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Peter Obi wrote;
We must at all cost, guard against accidents like this. The many lives lost to such avoidable incidents are heart breaking. The relevant agencies and authorities must stand up to their responsibilities.
