Two persons were reportedly killed when a passenger train collided with a BRT bus loaded with members of staff of the Lagos state government at PWD junction, Ikeja area of the state on Thursday morning.
Iwitnesslive gathered that the train was coming from Agege and met a BRT vehicle with the Lagos state government workers on board crossing the rail to link Ikeja GRA.
The number of injured persons is still unknown as of press time but the blood of victims was seen gushing out of the bus.
The accident has caused a gridlock on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway from for motorists coming from Oshodi around Shogunle to Ikeja-Along.
