The Peoples’ Democrats Party (PDP) candidate of Badagry Federal House of Representatives, Adekunle Lebile, has rejected the outcome of the February 25 National Assembly election.
In a statement signed by Lebile on Tuesday, he said that the party totally rejected the results in its totality. He said his team has called for the total cancellation of the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly election in totality.
According to him, the results being paraded did not tally with what transpired at the polling units. “Our team has sighted lots of irregularities at the local government collation centre. We also which to call the attention of the public to report the security agencies as they are working hand in hand to scuttle the will of the people.
“We hereby called the attention of the INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and well-meaning Nigerians to call the returning officer of Badagry LG, Prof Babatunde Adeoye to order as we continue to calm our supporters not to take law into their own hands,” he said.
