Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, has Won the just concluded Presidential Elections in Kano with the highest Votes of 997,279.
Bola Ahmad Tinubu of APC becomes second with the votes of 517,341, while Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, became third with 131,716.
The INEC Returning Officer, Professor Lawan Suleiman Bilbis, who announced the results, said they have collected them from the State 44 Local Government areas of Kano.
He commended Politicians in the State for largely maintaining decency and maturity during the conduct of the elections, though he acknowledged violence in Takai and some few other places.
