Irked by violence and irregularities that characterized last weekend’s presidential election, General Olusegun Obasanjo said the election has failed integrity test and should therefore be canceled.
The former President appealed to INEC Chairman, Prif Mahmood Yakubu to salvage the nation from going up flames.
Speaking in a statement titled “2023 Nigeria Presidential Election: An Appeal For Caution and Rectification.” Obasanjo hinted that the commission has compromised its integrity after adopting a manual transmission of results, which according to him have been tampared with.
