Outgoing President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari said it is paramount for eventual winner of last weekend’s elections to show some respect towards Nigerians who left the comfort of their respective homes to vote, iwitesslive.com can report
Speaking from Daura, Katsina State, Buhari urged winners to make voters feel appreciated so that they stand a good chance of winning future polls.
He said: “Respect the voters and make them feel important. If you don’t, they will wait in ambush for you in the next election. Depending on how you deal with them, they will keep you in the office, or they will send you packing.” he said
