Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has continued to live up to his pre-election rating after he emerged as the overall winner of Saturday’s presidential elections in Nasarawa state, iwitnesslive.com can report.
The former Anambra State Governor once again flexed his muscle by polling whopping votes of 191,361 to floor his Ahmed Bola-Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, who had 172,922 votes. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party came third in that order with 147, 093 votes.
Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC), collation officer in Nasarawa State, Prof. Ishaya Tanko confirmed that NNPP candidate, Aminu Kwankwaso had 12,715 votes.
