There are strong indications that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has claimed victory in Ekiti State after results collated so far showed he cleared all the local government areas in the state.
Resulted collated by the Independent Electoral Commission which was analyzed by our correspondent showed Tinubu has won in all 12 local governments announced so far.
He has polled 134,503 votes to ward off a challenge from Atiku Abubakar of the People Democratic Party who polled 61,414 votes.
He won in local governments including Ilejeme, Ijero, Efon, Emure and others.
The INEC was yet to post the result from four local governments as of the time of filing this report but Tinubu has claimed an unassailable lead in the state.
