The former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience have cast their votes in the general election.
Speaking after voting, Jonathan said his wish for Nigeria is to have a peaceful election.
“My plea to politicians is to allow INEC do their job because the world is looking at us. Many world leaders are in the country because they want us to succeed.”
Speaking on the use of BVAS, Jonathan said the country is advancing in terms of use of technology in the conduct of elections in the country.
He believed that the BVAS is technology ahead of card reader, which he introduced in 2015.
