Kano State Police Command has arrested a man for killing one Philemon Usman during an argument over who to vote for in the forthcoming presidential elections.
The suspect is said to be a supporter of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party while the deceased was rooting for Atiku Abubakar, the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Iwitnesslive learnt that the incident occurred at Gonin Gora, a suburb of Kaduna town in the Chukun Local Government Area of the State on February 2.
What started as a mere conversation at a beer parlour degenerated into a heated argument and all of a sudden the suspect pulled out a gun and shot Usman who was said to have died instantly. Bullet was said to have hit Mrs Anna Joe, the operator of the bar.
