Senator Orji Kalu has maintained that he will not engage in a tussle with anybody to actualize his dream of becoming the Senate president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Speaking on Arise TV on Tuesday morning, the former Abia State governor maintained that he was unanimously picked to become the Chief Whip of the Senate based on his track record as a unified politician who prioritizes the will of the people above personal desires.
He added he is ever willing to become Senate president if he is picked by the majority, adding his wealth of experience coupled with his entrepreneurship qualities which made him hire the services of over 13,000 employees, he is more than equipped to take the job on merit.
” I have what it takes to become Senate president if picked by the people. I have lots of experience as an ex-governor and an entrepreneur who employed over 13,000 workers. I have the track record to lead but I will never fight anyone for the post of the Senate,” Orji Kalu said.
