Gunmen have reportedly attacked the headquarters of Okehi local government area of Kogi State, blowing off some offices.
Iwitnesslive learnt that the attack occurred Monday evening and the identity of the attackers were still unknown as of press time.
Although the local government headquarters is close to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office, the electoral body properties were not touched by the assailants.
The Kogi State Police Command is yet to officially speak on the attack but sources confirmed the heavy deployment of operatives of the security forces to the scene of the event.
