It was a case of the hunter becoming the hunted after Pastor George Olusanya Omoolorun of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke Idahun, Akure, Ondo state sent himself to an early grave while hunting an antelope, iwitnesslive.com gathered.
At a time state and the federal government is working round the clock to protect their animals and revamp their moribund tourism industry, the late pastor George threw caution to the wind and opted to try his skills in hunting.
Feelers from Akure revealed that the 60-year-old pastor got his target right but the stray bullet from his gun hit him in the stomach and killed him on the spot..
Sources revealed that the wife of the deceased had raised alarm after the pastor failed to return home after which a full manhunt was launched by neighbors and church members.
“By the time they got to the farm, they met him lying helpless on the ground with the mysterious antelope, standing by his side. “They met him in the bush with his hand held onto his body where he sustained a bullet wound.
