Super Eagles and Napoli weapon of mass destruction, Victor Osimhen finally joined 100 club after scoring his 100 career goals in Friday’s 2-0 win over Sassuolo Calcio.
Osimhen scored his 19th goal of the season in Napoli’s away win to inch nearer to this season’s Scudetto.
The former Lille striker in his usual pressing game came into the match with eyes fixed on three points, but he was also determined to with the highest goal scorer award.
Napoli sets the ball rolling right from kick-off, and their efforts were rewarded when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened scoring for the visitors 12th minutes into the match.
It was Osimhen’s turn to take his goal tally to 19, and he made his presence count 32 minutes into the game by scoring from a tight angle to make it two for Napoli.
The goal makes it Osimhen 100 career goal and he also found himself in the record book as the first Napoli player to score in seven matches in a row in the Italian Serie A.
