The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has expressed happiness over the appointment of Dr Muhammad Ali Pate as the Chief Executive Officer of Gavi Alliance.
Atiku said the is well deserved and a sign that Nigeria is well blessed by God.
He said, “I am elated and excited at the elevation of yet another diligent Nigerian on the world map as Dr Muhammad Ali Pate becomes the CEO of Gavi Alliance.
“Dr Pate’s appointment is not only a joy for us as Nigerians but a blessing to Gavi Alliance and the millions of children worldwide who will receive more vaccines against diseases.
“I have congratulated him privately and now do so publicly to hold him up to the younger generation as one of our finest examples of diligence and perseverance rising to the top.
“My administration, if and when elected, will leverage relationships with such fine minds for the benefit of Nigeria.”
