Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau has met with top brass of global sport kits giants, Nike in Amsterdam to deliberate on how best both parties can enhance cordial relationships in their new partnership.
iwitnesslive.com decent source revealed that Gusau was accompanied by the scribe of the federation, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi as NFF and Nike discussed how best Nigeria’s national teams can enjoy the best of service from kitting giant this year.
On its part, the NFF president assured Nike that the federation will leave no stone unturned to ensure that Nike enjoys better patronage in the country as Nigerians look forward to more quality replica kits.
Both NFF chieftains appreciated Nike Sports Marketing Director (Africa) Uwe Gartner for identifying with Nigeria and the new board since the company returned to Nigeria in 2015 after Adidas pulled out.
“The president is in Amsterdam to meet Nike officials and appreciate the global kits giant. They will also discuss how best the country’s national teams can enjoy good services from Nike this year,” our source revealed.
Nigeria’s national team assignments include 2023 AFCON qualifiers, U-23 AFCON, U-20 African Championship which begins this weekend, as well as U-17 AFCON tiurnament.
