Chelsea Take First Steps Towards Solving Worrying Injury Crisis

  • Todd Boehly is undertaking a massive shakeup at Chelsea after his £4.25bn takeover last year
  • One of those departures was the departure of the club’s chief medical officer
  • The first team has been riddled with a lot of injuries in the past weeks and are desperate to find solutions

Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took over Chelsea last March for £4.25n after Roman Abramovich was forced to sell the club due to sanctions by the UK government over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The new owners have undertaken a lot of departures, with key components like Bruce Buck, Petr Cech, Marina Granovskaia and even head coach Thomas Tuchel all leaving the club.

Tuchel’s impact is felt the most as the team is struggling for results on the pitch. More importantly, impacting is the departure of chief medical officer Paco Biosca, as reported by Chelsea Chronicles.
