Big vibes are loading as Lagos throws its hat in the ring to host AFRIMA 2025 and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu isn’t holding back. In a high-powered meeting with the African Union and AFRIMA International Committee, the Governor made it official: “Lagos is ready!”
AFRIMA, which features over 1,600 nominees and reaches 400 million viewers worldwide, isn’t just about handing out trophies, it’s about showcasing African talent, boosting tourism, creating jobs, and rewriting the global narrative about the continent.
So, will Lagos host AFRIMA 2025? We’ll find out officially on May 13 in Addis Ababa.
