Africa Games 2023: Morocco coach reveals mission against Falconets

Lipoff Dimitri, the coach of Morocco, has stated that their primary objective at the 13th African Games is to enhance their developmental progress. The North African team is set to kick off their campaign against the defending champions, Falconets of Nigeria, at the Cape Coast Stadium today.

Acknowledging that the Falconets are strong contenders in the match, Dimitri suggested that his team will tackle the tournament with a clear emphasis on improvement and competitiveness.

“We are here to improve and find solutions to better ourselves,” the gaffer told a press conference ahead of the game.

Despite the challenges posed by formidable opponents, Morocco remains undaunted and ready to compete at their best, according to forward, Salma Tammar.

“Our objective is to play well and prepare for the upcoming World Cup,” Tammar stated, emphasizing the importance of performing strongly in the African Games as a stepping stone to future success.
