BREAKING: Labour suspends planned strike for 30 days

On Monday night, the Organised Labour reached a consensus to postpone its previously planned indefinite strike set to commence on Tuesday.

This decision came after more than five hours of discussions between the Federal Government and Labour at the Chief of Staff Conference Room in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Lalong also mentioned that the Memorandum of Understanding would be submitted to the appropriate court within a week as a consent judgment by the Federal Government.

However, NLC President Joe Ajaero cautioned that the unions would revisit the agreement if the Federal Government fails to meet their demands.
