BREAKING: Four escape death as helicopter crashes into Lagos building

Four persons have been rescued as a helicopter crashed into a building around Oba Akran in Ikeja, Lagos.

According to reports, the helicopter, whose specifics are yet unclear, exploded as soon as it touched down on the structure next to the United Bank for Africa (UBA) and the AP filling station on Commercial Avenue.

According to sources, the event happened around 3:30 pm and caused panic in the neighborhood.

According to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), four people were rescued from the area, including two white and two black men even though he could not establish if there have been any casualties.

Rescue efforts were still going on as of press time, according to Ibrahim Farinloye, the Coordinator of NEMA’s Lagos Territorial Office.

He acknowledged that the specifics were still hazy and promised to release further facts as soon as they become available.
