Adeleke’s aide, ex-Senate spokesman fight dirty at Eid prayer ground

It was a show of shame at Oshogbo Eid-el-Kabir praying ground on Wednesday as Adeleke’s aides and ex-Senate spokesman Senator Ajibola Basiru threw caution to the wind and engaged in war of words.

iwitnesslive gathered that the shameful incident prevented Governor Adeleke from observing the two raka’at prayer rites at the ground.

The shameful incident occurred when some members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, loyal to the Governor and indigenes of Osogbo engaged the Senator requesting that Ajibola Basiru vacate the space reserved for the governor on the front row after he arrived early for the prayers

The former lawmaker shifted from the space but insisted that as one of the leaders, he had always sat in the front and nothing would move him to another row.

The scene, which lasted over 10 minutes, created drama at the ground till the Governor and his entourage arrived at the ground.
