Nigerian most popular comedian, Bowoto Jephta, popularly known as Akpororo, has come under heavy criticism over his comment on Peter Obi’s quest to reclaim his mandate from President Bola Tinubu.
Akpororo had jokingly urged Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi to give up the fight on 2023 Presidential election and move on with his life
Commenting on the on-going Electoral Tribunals in Abuja, Akpororo warned that Peter Obi will keep going to court trying to reclaim his mandate until president Bola Tinubu completes his right year’s in office.
Speaking in Pidgin, Akpororo said, “Peter Obi still dey go court abi? no worry, that court na eight years him go spend.
But the Obidients have labelled Akpororo as betrayal for his comments with many urging to shut up and face his profession.
Already, many Obidients have vowed to unfolded the comedian for his comments.
It would be recalled thatTinubu was declared winner of the Presidential election with 8,794,726 votes, while Obi who came third with 6,101,533 votes by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
