The trio of Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG must be ready to break the bank if they must lure Victor Osimhen away from Napoli next summer.
Il Matino reported on Thursday afternoon that Napoli capon du Tutti, Aurelio De Laurentiis insisted that whosoever want Osimhen should be ready to cough out an astronomical fee of £139m.
The 24-year-old has two years left on his contract and Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis intends to keep him unless an astronomical offer arrives.
Transfer speculations is expected in the coming days as suitors begin to react to this latest development. Osinhen was initially priced at 150m euros but an additional 10m euros have been added by Napoli.
Osimhen will become the most expensive player in the history of Italian Serie A should any club accept to break the bank to sign him thereby overtaking Romelu Lukaku who moved from Inter Milan to Chelsea in exchange for 113 million euros in 2021.
Osimhen scored in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Fiorentina to earn Napoli the Schdetto after 33 years wait and took his goal tally to 47 in 79 appearances while Weah has 46 in 114 matches.
